2011 National Hydroplane Championship: Round 2
The JC Racing Team got off to a good start in the defence of their national Outboard title with maximum points at the Kingsbury Water Park near Bodymoor.

After the first round of the 2011 National Outboard Championship was cancelled due to high winds at Oulton Broad, the action finally got underway at the Kingsbury Water Park with five 250cc and 350cc outfits taking part.
It was to be a faultless performance from JC Racing Team Driver Julian Codling taking pole position and then winning the first three races meaning the team could save the engine in the final heat having already obtained maximum points.
Kevin Turner finished second overall with a consistent display of driving in his 250cc hydroplane outfit, but the event came one week to early for Wayne Turner after amazingly destroying his 250cc VRP engine at Oulton Broad two weeks previously, Team Turner couldn’t get it back on full song but still managed to finish the meeting in third overall.
Nigel Edwards finished fourth with the 350cc GRM powered hydro and Paul Jillings had a weekend to forget failing to trouble the scoreboard with mechanical problems.
