European Championship F-250: Round 1 - Baja, Hungary
The JC Racing Team ventured into their first full season of international racing with a fifth place finish at the opening round of the European F-250 Championship Series held in Baja, Hungary in blisteringly hot conditions.

Qualifying saw team driver Julian Codling put the 250cc GRM powered Trombetta hydroplane onto an impressive third place on the grid with reigning champion Rene Behncke from Germany taking the pole, with the current 350cc champion Salvatore Chuiri From Italy taking second.
The remainder of the grid was made up of Peter Bodor (Hungary), Christoffer Soderstedt (Sweden), Michal Kosut (Slovakia) and Dimitiry Gerasymenko (Ukraine).
The first race saw the JC Racing Team get a fantastic start and team driver Julian was able to leap frog Salvatore Chuiri into second place. Salvatore however was able to regain the position as the race developed but suffered mechanical problems as Julian and the JC Racing Team were promoted back into second place behind the impressive Rhene Behncke.
It looked like being a fantastic start to the team on the international stage until Julian hit an object in the water, which lifted the skeg that made turning virtually impossible. Julian was still able to bring the boat home in fifth place.
Race two saw the JC Racing Team repeat the performance of the first heat finishing fifth and heat three saw the team improve one place to finish fourth. The final race saw Julian drive the JC Racing Teams 250cc outfit to their best result of the weekend, a third place behind Salvatore Chuiri and Peter Bodor.
